Dr Disrespect has been banned from Twitch. For his first ever IRL (‘in real life’) stream, the provocative personality filmed his day at E3. He went to use the bathroom, and his cameraman followed.
This in itself would likely be enough to get him banned. According to the Doc’s fans on Reddit – some of whom are mourning the loss of his clips – filming the interior of a public bathroom is a crime under California law. One user on Resetera, where the reaction is much less sympathetic, claims that a minor was using the bathroom when Doc went in.
At time of writing, the Doc’s channel is listed as unavailable on Twitch (click here to see for yourself). Users in both communities seem confident that the ban will only be temporary, with fans charging that prediction with hope and detractors with cynicism.
The Doc himself has yet to say anything on the matter. His last tweet is an advertisement for the ill-fated stream, which began roughly three hours ago:
